Rental Terms And Conditions
The THESS CAR 4U MONOPROSOPI Ι Κ Ε based in 12km Thessaloniki - Moudania ensures that all your personal data will remain secured in the company's database and will be used exclusively for your best and fastest service. They will not be used for any promotional material without your approval.
Minimum Rental Time:
The Minimum Rental Time for a car is set at 24 hours.
Maximum distance per day:
The Maximum distance per day that the Renter can travel is set at 150km. Any additional use of the car is charged at 0,06€/km.
Driver's age:
The Maximum distance per day that the Renter can travel is set at 150km. Any additional use of the car is charged at 0,06€/km.
Additional drivers:
One (1) additional driver can be registered at no extra charge. Up to three (3) drivers, including the main driver, are allowed per rental. The additional cost is 5€ per day per driver.
Fuel:
The renter is obliged to return the car with the tank full as when he received it. Otherwise, he will be charged the amount of the fuel consumed and an additional 10€. The renter is obliged to follow the construction specifications of the car he has rented and to fill the tank each time with the type of fuel required.
Deliveries-Pick-ups:
a) Outside the station of THESS CAR 4U MUNICIPAL I K E and within the city limits: 5€.
b) Outside the city limits: 0,50€/km (with a minimum charge of 10€).
c) Delivery or pick-up during hours that the company’s stores are closed: 15€.
Traveling outside the borders:
Customers wishing to go outside the Greek borders with a rental car of THESS CAR 4U MONOPROSOPI I K E, must obtain the prior written approval of the company.
Transportation by boat:
Permitted only with the written approval of THESS CAR 4U S.A
Administrative costs:
In the event of an accident, the driver will be charged 30€ to cover accident management costs, regardless of fault and will not be reimbursed under any circumstances. Traffic Offences, Traffic Fines and Administrative Penalties: Traffic tickets and administrative penalties arising from any violation of Greek traffic laws during the rental period are the sole responsibility of the renter. If any such administrative sanction is not disclosed to the company at the end of the rental period (contract), the violation will be charged to the renter.
Loss of Keys:
The customer is responsible for all costs of replacing lost or damaged keys and the cost of recovering keys locked inside the vehicle.
Taxes / VAT:
Our prices include VAT (Value Added Tax) 24%. It is recommended to contact our office directly in case of roadside assistance required. During out of office hours, all direct calls to our office are forwarded to our mobile phone line.
INSURANCE
Guarantee:
Prepaid – and equal to the exempt amount of the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). More information can be found below in the terms and conditions.
Roadside assistance:
Roadside Assistance is free of charge and available 24/7. The company’s roadside assistance partner is INTERSALONICA. TEL.(+30) 2310 492 100.
In case of mechanical breakdown or accident for example (mechanical breakdown, natural disaster, vandalism or theft), you should in any case contact our offices as soon as possible.
CDW:
Exemption from payment of damages caused: The renter is fully exempted from liability for any damage to the car, above the limit of the exemption plus VAT (500€) as stated in the rental contract, if he accepts and signs the relevant terms of the company’s contract. The Renter is obliged to pay the above amount as a deposit. This amount may be pledged through Bank Card and returned to him upon return of the car to the rental company, provided that no additional damage has been caused.
FDW:
Full Damage Waiver: The renter of the car is exempt from paying the amounts provided for in the gross insurance. Charge 12€/day.
PAI:
Personal accident insurance: covers the drivers of the vehicle as stated in the rental agreement. Charge: 3€/day
TP:
Theft Protection Insurance: The renter of the car is fully exempted from liability for any damage to the car in case of theft. The main condition for the above is no evidence of negligence ( car unlocked etc.). Charge: 4€/day.
WUG:
Insurance cover for damage to the wheels, tyres, crystals and the underside of the car (WUG): the renter is exempted for damage to the wheels, tyres, crystals and the underside of the car. Charge: 3€/day.
